New Illustrations for HEAVY GEAR Blitz: Forged in Fire, Southern Field Guide.

"Forged in Fire" by Dream Pod 9 is now available at www.dp9.com

For this book I did again some cityscape and chapter break artworks like happened with "Perfect Storm" about one year ago (you can see them here).

Chapter Breaks were done from great linearts by Avelardo Paredes and Jake Staines as you can see in the process pictures.
I would like to thank again the work of Greg Perkins as Art Director of the project for his advices and guidelines provided, such as Robert Dubois for his trust.

Without anything else to say, I hope you like the artworks ;)

Para este libro he realizado de nuevo algunos cityscapes y cortes de capítulo como ya hice para "Perfect Storm" hace alrededor de un año (podeis verlos aquí)

Para los cortes de capítulo conté con los estupendos trabajos de línea de Avelardo Paredes y Jake Staines como podéis ver en las imágenes de procesos.
Me gustaría agradecer nuevamente el trabajo de Greg Perkins como director de arte del proyecto por sus consejos y guias, así como a Robert Dubois por su confianza.

Heavy Gear, Perfect Storm

Ya está a la venta Perfect Storm, Nucoal Field Guide de Heavy Gear, publicado por DreamPod9. Ha sido un placer poder participar en esta publicación. Nunca había colaborado en un juego de miniaturas y trabajar con el equipo de DreamPod9 ha sido una experiencia muy gratificante.Es impresionante ver como coordinan todo el trabajo desde los diseños de escenarios, robots, ilustraciones, modelado 3D y modelado real de las miniaturas. Acabo de recibir el libro en mi casa y tiene un aspecto estupendo :) Gracias al editor Robert Dubois y al director de arte Greg Perkins por su confianza.

Already on sale Perfect Storm, Nucoal Heavy Gear Field Guide, published by DreamPod9. It was a pleasure to participate in this publication. I had never worked in a miniatures game and working with the team DreamPod9 has been a very gratifying experience.It´s amazing seeing how they coordinate all the work from the design stage, robots, illustrations, 3D modeling and real modeling of the miniatures. I just got the book in my house and looks great:) Thanks to senior editor Robert Dubois and art director Greg Perkins for their confidence.

Mi participación en este libro ha sido en dos líneas, por un lado "cityscapes" y por otro los cortes de capítulo "Chapter Breaks" donde he colaborado con el ilustrador Avelardo Paredes que ha realizado el trabajo de líneas y Greg Perkins que ha añadido algunos detalles y postproducción para integrarlos en la maquetación final que podéis encontrar en el libro.

My participation in this book has been in two lines, first "cityscapes" and second "Chapter Breaks" where I collaborated with illustrator Avelardo Paredes who made the line artwork and Greg Perkins who added some details and postproduction to integrate them into the final layout that you can find in the book.
